Would we go back? If we were in the area and had another craving for Korean, sure. The staff were friendly and attentive, and it was a pretty fun space. The rice noodles were nice, though we agreed that Gami's version was better. The pork belly was pretty tasty, while the tofu and kimchi failed to excite us. But to be honest, our previous 'afternoon snack' was catching up with us, and was probably making it difficult to truly appreciate the food at Seoul Soul. Overall, it was a nice finishing touch to our lazy afternoon and evening exploring Northcote.

Would we go back? Yes yes yes! In fact, I can't believe I haven't really mentioned this place before. While the fried chicken is delicious, our favourite is actually the giblets. Together with the beer, it's always a fun night at Gami!

Verdicts?

VG: "The dessert was one of the best ever and I loved the Beef Bulgogi. Didn't really rate the Bo Ssam though and not enough chilli in the Pickled Korean Vegetables."

GG: "Dessert rocked!! The drinks were king."

And as for me, the highlights were definitely the Kim Chi Mary and the Mochi dessert. Just remind me to request a table with a bit more lighting for the February edition!
